Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, better known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper and singer. His stage name is a tribute to the name of a beloved uncle combined with the name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major-label deal with Epic Records and a publishing deal with Kanye West's GOOD Music. He signed a joint record agreement with Epic Records and T.I. He is signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott released his first full-length mixtape called Owl Pharaoh. The album was immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit song "Antidote". His second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho, which was released under the name Huncho Jack. The third studio album Astroworld was also released to acclaim from critics. The album was the source of the debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It topped the Billboard 200. Scott's single "Franchise" with Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, was released. Scott was the first rapper to be ranked number one on the Hot 100 with three songs in less than one year.
